6. Stick to the Right People
When you’re around people who create a toxic friendship environment, all it does is bring you down. Why would somebody want to be friends with those who insult them or otherwise act obnoxious and inconsiderate? Because studies have found that people often don’t even realize they’re being abused. One surefire way to make yourself feel good is when others laugh at your jokes. Using humor is also a good way to break tension and not allow your day to be ruined by the little things. The problem is, a lot of folks take life way too seriously, and this is something that everybody else immediately notices.
